Where to Find the Ceasing Commodore Spirit

The Ceasing Commodore spirit can be found in the Treasure Reef area, located within the Golden Wasteland realm in Sky: Children of the Light. This region features an underwater environment filled with sunken ruins, coral formations, and hidden pathways.

Treasure Reef location Sky COTL

As shown in the image above, the point on the right indicates the player spawn location when entering Treasure Reef. From this starting point, head forward across the water toward the rocky island directly ahead.

The Ceasing Commodore spirit is located on this island, near a small structure along the shoreline. Once you arrive, look for the glowing spirit memory and interact with it to begin the sequence.

Follow the spirit by guiding its light until the memory is completed. Successfully finishing this will unlock the base emote of the Ceasing Commodore.

Spirit Cosmetics and Unlock Tree

The Ceasing Commodore offers ocean-themed cosmetics, including a distinctive hairstyle, cape, mask, and upgraded emotes. These items can be unlocked through the spirit tree using candles, hearts, and ascended candles.

Because Traveling Spirits are only available for a limited time, it's important to prepare enough resources in advance to unlock all cosmetics.

Why This Spirit is Popular

The Ceasing Commodore is well-loved for its nautical-inspired design. Its cosmetics fit perfectly with ocean and exploration themes, making it especially popular among players who enjoy Treasure Reef and underwater areas.

Returning spirits like this also give newer players a chance to obtain items that were previously unavailable outside their original season.

How Traveling Spirits Work

Traveling Spirits are special visitors from past seasons in Sky. Each one stays for around four days, allowing players to unlock cosmetics, emotes, and upgrades. If you're new, check out our Traveling Spirit guide in Sky: Children of the Light to learn more about schedules and preparation tips.

Tips to Prepare Candles and Hearts

To prepare for the Ceasing Commodore, focus on daily candle farming across multiple realms. Efficient routes in Golden Wasteland, Vault of Knowledge, and Daylight Prairie can help you gather candles quickly.

Don’t forget to complete daily quests, seasonal events, and exchange hearts with friends. Planning ahead ensures you can unlock all rewards before the spirit leaves.
